Paul specifically prayed that God would afford an opportunity for him to visit the Roman church. He had been a believer for a quarter of a century but he had never visited Rome. Rome was the capital of the then-known world.
PRINCIPLE:
We should plan within the framework of God’s will.
APPLICATION:
We often first plan without seeking God’s will and then try to co-opt God into our own plan. We need to keep a vertical orientation to what we do. If everything is horizontal then, where is God in all this?
