Read Introduction to Romans

11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”

And every tongue shall confess to God.”

The word “confess” means to acknowledge. Every Christian will acknowledge God’s role in judgment at the ultimate place of ruling.

Ph 2: 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

PRINCIPLE:

One day the Lord will receive universal homage.

APPLICATION:

One day every knee will bow and every tongue of Christians will confess who is truly Lord.

Since all good, holiness, and righteousness resides in God, He must judge those who insist on their own way.
