“Every spiritual blessing” refers to spiritual enrichment or blessing to live the Christian life. This blessing comes from the grace of God, not from some ethereal source.

“Every” refers to all that God gives us by grace. God blesses us with “every” spiritual blessing, not just some. Spiritual blessings glorify God because they come from Him by grace.

PRINCIPLE:

God is interested in giving to the believer.

APPLICATION:

God is the God of the open hand. He pours out the “most” rather than the least to those who are His (Mt 6:33; Ro 8:32). He is not a God who withholds; He is a God of abundance toward the believer.
