Christians should find satisfaction in meeting their basic needs (Mt 6:25-34: He 13:5-6; Php 4:10-13).
PRINCIPLE:
Biblical contentment is satisfied with the necessities of life.
APPLICATION:
Jesus challenged believers to be content with the necessities of life (Mt 6:25-34; Lu 12:22-31). How much is enough? Whatever God sovereignly gives the believer is enough. Value rests not on what we materially possess but on what we will eternally receive and give. We should be content with whatever God gives us.
